Very cool 1948 FORD COE... slammed on a 1987 Ford RV chassis .. I've owned the rv for 11 years and drove it to AZ every winter... One day it became apparent the Cabover should take it's place on the Motor home chassis... That's right , we took a perfectly good , clean rv and turned it into THIS.... The 460 engine only has 91k miles on it... Very well cared for, you don't want to break down on the road with a motor home... Great brakes, new Holley 4 bbl. carb, new hooker headers, new mufflers, new Ron Francis wiring kit, not completed but enough to turn the key on the tilt column and hear the fuel pump engage and fire up the motor... Really good tires with an exception of one that I ran a rock through the side wall.. A great start to a roll back or a custom flat bed or very easy to cut the chassis down and mount a pick up bed !!! Trust me, the hard work has been done !!! There is a lot of fabrication on these makeovers, But all new body mounts are in place, things trimmed , dog house built , very easy to service this rig.... You will need glass cut and installed, but cheap , it's all flat....Finish up the wiring which involves headlights / taillights... Ron Francis wire kits are super easy to install, comes with great instructions... A great father / Son project, you can handle this with out getting burned out.. Feel free to call anytime !
