2004 Jaguar XJR Supercharged We are pleased to present this absolutely Stunning 2004 Jaguar XJR Supercharged Sedan. These cars are actually quite special and are often overlooked as a great choice for a serious luxury performance car. TheXJR is an true performance machine with its 400 horsepower supercharged V8 engine, Brembo brakes, 19" Chrome-clad alloy wheels, CATS electronic sport air suspension, sport seats, and much more. These are fun to drive cars which have a very solid feel to them, and as you can see, are quite affordable for what they are. This particular XJR also has the beautiful two tone Gray/Ebony interior which is somewhat difficult to find. It also has a very interesting history. The car has had one senior owner since it was new, and we purchsed the car from the estate of the owner. He used the car pimarily to drive between his summer home in New Jersey, and his winter home in Florida. The car did not spend any winters in the north except for on holiday trips and vacations to the north. According to the children of the previous owner, the complete engine was replaced in the car and was paid for by his insurance company. Evidently, he ran over some road debris, which cut through a line to the oil cooler. This resulted in the entire engine needing to be replaced. We searched through the records we have, and were able to verify that the entire engine assembly was replaced with a brand new unit by Matheny Jaguar/Land Rover in Jacksonville Florida to the tune of close to $13,000. Aside from this, the car was mainly serviced by Bergen Jaguar in Paramus, NJ. Both of these dealerships can confirm this information. The interior of this XJR is in stunning good condition. It has light gray leather heated seats with beautiful walnut accents on the dash and door panels.The dash and carpets are ebony in color, which makes for a stunning contrast with the seats and door panels. It also has a power moonroof. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. There is no odor at all. The cigarette lighter also appears to have never been used. This Jaguar has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags positioned in the front doors. There are also side curtain airbags for the front and rear passengers. Both front seats are power adjustable. The carpets are in nearly flawless condition as is indicated in the pictures below. The interior of this car is truly incredible. In keeping with being a Jaguar, it features their signature "J Gate" shifter. It also has the premium Alpine audio system with Subwoofer, and no speakers are blown. It sounds AMAZING. It does have the Jaguar navigtion system as well, although the DVD for it is missing. We recommend getting an updated DVD anyway. In additional to all of these features, the car also has radar-guided adaptive cruise control which can be set to follow the car in front of you. You never have to adjust the cruise control speed up or down! My own car has this feature, and once you're used to it, you can never go back. The exterior of this Jag is in very nicecondition, and is Slate in color. It really makes the car stand out, and the condition of the paint is very nice. There are no major imperfections in the exterior of this car at all. It's in gorgeous condition. It has the upgraded 19" Chrome-Clad wheels which help put down all of the power to the rear wheels, as well as give the car a very muscular look. Since the car spent its winters in Florida, the chrome has very little if any pitting, and is in gorgeous condition. The car also has xenon gas discharge headlamps. Once you have these, it's impossible to go back to regular headlamps! This car was very well cared for by its owner, and it really shows. One really cool thing worth mentioning is that 2004 was the first year for all-aluminum construction on these cars. you never have to worry about rust. The entire body and unibody/frame is constructed of aluminum which is what gives it its incredible performance for being such a large vehicle, and contributes to the fact that it'll never rust! The tires are nearly brand new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. These are simply the most expensive tires on the market for this car, and are a sign that no expensive was spared when it came to the maintenance of this car. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. This XJR drives just like you'd expect a Jaguar to drive. It's very smooth, while still handling well. The engine and transmission operate properly. The CATS electronic suspension operates properly with no warning messages, and the same applies to the adaptive cruise control.
