You are looking at a 1970 Targa. The body is very straight and has no filler thicker than 1/16" anywhere and no filler at all on 95% of it. It is essentially rust free with a small rust through in the smugglers box and nothing else. The paint is about 5 years old and is mostly very good with small defects here and there that I found difficult to capture with a camera. I believe the origonal color was yellow which can be seen on the origonal bumpers and deck lid which go with the car. The Toyo Proxies are new and are mounted on Fuch wheels. The interior has no tears or wear throughs and looks good though it has no door pockets. The guages wipers and lights all work properly. The Kenwood radio / ipod ready CD player is new with speakers in the doors. The Targa top is good inside and out. There is a very small, unobtrusive rock chip in the windshield, down low. The 5 speed transmission shifts properly, doesn't grind or pop out of gear. The engine runs supprizingly well considering the compression on #1 cylinder is low. Perhaps it is a burnt valve. Hydraulic chain tensioners have not been installed. I installed a new MSD ignition unit and the Zenith carburators are freshly rebuilt. Most of the rubber body seals and suspension bushings are new. New shocks. Horns are included but not installed. The heater flapper boxes are shot and I have included one new replacement. Quite a few spare parts are included. The original engine cover and bumpers are included. Please do not bid if you are in doubt or can't afford this car. $500 is due within 2 days of the close of the auction with the balance due by day 7. If you want to inspect the car please do so before the end of the auction. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. I will help with loading or whatever I can do to make the transfer easy.
