Vehicle Detail
1967 BUICK SKYLARK Quite Possibly the Nicest Unrestored 1967Buick Skylark in Existence 77,377 Original Miles THIS CAR HAS HAD A RESPRAY OF THE ORIGINAL FACTORY BLUE TWO YEARS AGO I'll be the very first to admit that I am guilty of using an over abundance of superlatives when describing cars that I have for sale, but that may be because I sell some of the cleanest, well preserved classic cars on eBay. This Buick Skylark sedan is all original, completely unmolested and quite possibly the nicest unrestored Buick Skylark in existence. Absolutely everything works as it did the day it drove off of the showroom floor. Every knob and interior implement is present and operates to factory standards. The interior fabric on the seats (front and rear) is in excellent condition with absolutely NO tears or wear on the fabric or vinyl (the light stain on the drivers side seat shown in the photographs was professionally cleaned and is barely noticeable now. The dash (upper and lower) is absolute perfect with no color degradation or wear, not a single crack on the dashboard. All rubber seals are watertight and in excellent condition and the car does not leak. Absolutely every square inch of the dark blue carpet's piles are factory "tight" and completely unruffled and like new (front and back) with absolutely zero wear, not a speck of dirt or stains anywhere on the carpets (lower door carpet also perfect). Headliner is factory tight, excellent with no flaws. The exterior paint is excellent with no dings or dents but in the uploaded photographs that I have, the car's paint looks almost an exotic lavender, but in person the blue is the common General Motors mundane sky blue, with absolutely no rust or body repair that I could detect (I did notice two very small manual paint brush touch ups (from the factory included bottle of touch up matching paint) about the size of a Tic-Tac candy) I do not have the bottle of touch up paint but I remember seeing them as a kid. The glass all around is excellent, with no cracks, abrasions and no fogging. The car starts, runs and drives (and stops) like it did 48 years ago. The only obvious flaw that I can find is the steering wheel has very small cracks at the center where the arms of the steering wheel connects to the center. An absolute steal at $6400, sorry dealers but I am firm on that price and the car is located in sunny Key West, Florida. I can be of great assistance in getting the car shipped to any location in the U.S. or worldwide, or fly into Key West airport (about 5 minutes away) and drive the car back to Saskatchewan, no exaggeration, I would feel comfortable driving this 46 year old car any distance, it's looks, drives and feels like a two year old car. In closing, I am an overly fastidious car enthusiast, and I must reaffirm that this is quite possibly the nicest, unrestored original 1967 Buick Skylarks in existence and will only appreciate in value.
