Up for bid is a matching numbers 1971 triumph TR6C with approximately 11,500 miles. I bought the bike in 2006 with 4000 miles on it and it has served me well for the last 7500 miles. This is the "competition" model with folding foot rests, high pipes and a single amal concentric carb. The bike has a new pazon electronic ignition, new battery, dual output coil with new plug wires and caps and a mity max solid state voltage regulator. Avon distanzia dual sport tires with less than 500 miles on them and a new 530 o ring chain. The head was rebuilt by Beno Rodi less than 250 ago. Has a new morgo plunger oil pump, new clutch and brake cable. There is a 2" diameter dent on the front left side of the tank. The seat has a few scuffs in the original cover. The speedo drive stopped working about 200 miles ago (I have a replacement but I haven't put it on.) The bike starts on first or second kick. The stock high pipes have been shortened and mega phones with super traps have been fitted. The bike runs looks and sounds great with plenty of power. This is an old british bike with 90psi of oil pressure and does leak a little oil as everyone I've seen does.
