Vehicle Detail
2006 Subaru Baja Turbo I am selling my 2006 Subaru Baja Turbo that is in great condition. It is blue with black interior, automatic and super clean inside and out. I am a Subaru lover so this one is dear to me because Baja’s are so rare and it is the last year it was made. This Baja has lived in Texas all of its life so there is NO RUST, and I even have the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. A couple of years ago the engine was making noise and we decided to rebuild it completely, including the turbo. We did not spare any expense, some of the upgrades were; forged pistons, kings racing bearings, STI oil pump, STI intake. In addition, the turbo was rebuilt by 3rd Coast Turbos here in Houston, also any hose that showed any signs of wear/hardness to it was replaced. The interior is super clean without any tears on the seats. The rear view mirror has the compass, and it comes with all the amenities such as; sunroof, 6 cd changer, cruise control, and tilt steering to mention a few. You can tell by the pictures that it has been well taken care of. The exterior is very clean, and if you did not know, Bajas come with a big clad molding and it protects the vehicle from dents, chips, debris so it remains as original. it has a few door dings but minor. It also has fog light, and the bed (inside) shows some wear but average for caring furniture, parts, and even a dish washer. In the trunk I also have the extended cargo tray which is very helpful. The tires are like new (replaced recently), I bought Toyo Versado LX 225/60r16 (they give a better ride, it is soft, very comfortable, and has little road noise). The 2 fog lights do have a crack in them but they work and I never came around to replace them (fyi). Over all the exterior is in very good shape. Mechanically – This is where my Baja stands aside from anything that is out there. When the motor was making noise a couple of years ago, we decided to rebuilt from the ground up. As mentioned before we started from the crankshaft out and we rebuild or replace anything that showed signs of wear or any part that in the future can potentially cause damage to the vehicle. It has a bigger oil pump so it can increase the flow of oil in the engine, and if a part was bought, we only used OEM parts (wth the exception of the internals such as pistons and bearings), and that includes the beautiful STI intake. The transmission has never given us problems and we did replace the filter and oil but not much else to do there. If you have additional questions, please call or email me. Talking about Subaru is fun and enjoyable of me and thank you for looking at auction.
