Vehicle Detail
1932 ford woody 2 door wagon street rod. New engine, transmission, paint, chrome. GM 406 engine, eagle nodular crank, eagle I-beam 5.7" rods, 9:1 compression ratio, hydraulic cam with .510" lift- exhaust .533". Cam duration .050 244/254 with 112 degree lobe separation. Aluminum heads 210cc intake with 64cc chambers; 2.02"/1.6" valves, roller rockers. 700R4 automatic transmission, headers, magnaflow exhaust. 480 HP at the crank. Ford 9" rear end with 3.5:1 gear ratio. Mustang II front suspension, front disc brakes, power steering, vintage air, power windows, cloth interior seats. New chrome, paint. truespoke custom wire wheels. New maple wood body. Looks and drives like new, as only 20 miles on newly installed engine and transmission. Nice "mean" engine sound with the cam and magnaflows. Given the light weight of this car, it will really get up and move. I purchased this two years ago for $59K and have since upgraded the engine (current 406), 700 R4 transmission and paint, which were done last year at a local hot rod/racing shop. He said (and verified) that the frame and body is '32 ford, but the cowel and firewall is "Model A", rather than '32 Ford. Why the cowel and firewall is "Model A (and the rest of the body and frame is '32 Ford), I have no idea (as this car was built 6 years ago) but it is what it is. The guy really liked the car, however and I certainly appreciate the input of someone who knows '32 fords, as I only know about woodies. On Feb-04-15 at 05:34:53 PST, seller added the following information: Check out the other resto-mod '32 woodies on the web and you can see that these cars are selling for north of $60K on cars with mechanical componants and wood less desireable than that on this car. This car sold on "Left Coast Classics" (images still up on the net) for $59K and has since had the new 406 engine, 700R4 tranny, new paint, and new true spoke custom wheels added. A steal at the current price.
