This car has been nothing short of amazing for the 6 years that I drove it. I bought it in August of 2008 when they were just starting to release this 09 model. I used the car primarily for the 4 years I was at UC Santa Cruz and a lot of the miles on the car are from highway driving between Los Angeles and Santa Cruz. I've never had any major issues with the car and it has never been in an accident. I have a set of Yakima sport racks on the top that come with the car (if you prefer to have them taken off let me know). As stated in the condition description there are minor dings and scratches as well as a softball sized ding above the passenger wheel well that was the result of a pick up truck backing into a parking spot. The paint has the random and very small scratch or chip here and there with a few minority noticeable spots from tree sap that could not be washed out. There is wear and fading of the paint on the driver side view mirror that can be seen in the pictures. The alloy wheels have scrapes around the edges from parallel parking. Aside from those minor blemishes as well as the dent above the passenger wheel well this is still a great looking car with a beautiful paint job that I have done my part to keep clean inside and out, and it shows. I had it professionally cleaned and detailed inside and out about a month ago and it has been sitting protected in the garage since I have been on vacation the past month. The interior is in EXCELLENT condition. The only flaw is a minor thin scratch on the dash board in front of the passenger seat and it doesn't show in the pictures. The car comes with an outstanding pioneer sound system with AUX and iPod support (the previous generation with the longer flat charger). Im throwing in the AUX cable I have since it's a special flex cable and is easy to manage without it dangling about the car. I've been asked countless times what sound system/speakers/sub woofers I've had installed and often times am met with disbelief when I tell them it's the factory sound system. Sorry for all the emphasis on the sound system but really guys.... Scion did an awesome job of setting this car up with a great system and if you play music off your iPhone or other smartphone you'll love it. Mechanically the car is flawless. I had Toyota do a complete inspection (see the condition description) and I have copies of their comprehensive reports as well as my last 2 service reports that I am happy to share upon request.
