For sale is a very clean example of Volvo's iconic station wagon equipped with a rare 4 Speed manual transmission with overdrive! Car was originally purchased in California so has likely never seen any severe winter weather and has no signs of rust. Original factory paint has some clear coat pealing on roof but otherwise in great shape. Odometer stopped at 208,000 but a new engine was just swapped in and transmission was built just over a year ago so everything is running as new! Road trip ready! The good: - Engine just replaced. - Rare 4 speed transmission rebuilt in the last two years. - Very clean condition inside & outside cosmetically. - Comes with upgraded 16" "Hydra" wheels on newer tires, as well as the original 14" steel wheels & tires from the factory. - California registration was just renewed until December 2015. Passes smog with flying colors! The bad: - Drivers seat has some tears in the bottom cushion but all other seats looks as though they've never been used! - heat core is bad so there is no heater (which is rarely a problem in SoCal). - odometer stopped at 208,000 (most likely due to very common problem with a broken gear that can be fixed very easily) - newer stereo works but no sound comes out of speakers likely due to blown out speakers. This car is perfect for any Volvo enthusiast or someone looking for an inexpensive & reliable car with tons of character!
