Up for sale is my numbers matching 1968 Camaro Z/28. This car was purchased in July of '68 at Steakley Bros. Chevrolet in Dallas, Texas by Mr. J.M. Meade of Richardson. This is a real fantastic example of a real 80,000 mile '68 Z/28. It has a C-C code Ermine White exterior with 712 black standard interior with black stripes. It is numbers matching with its original (MO) 302 engine, 4 speed transmission. The BU code 3:73 posi trac rear end was changed by Jack Meade who had the dealer install 4:10 gears shortly after he purchased the vehicle. Which are still in the rear end today. This Los Angeles Z/28 has the warranty book (with the vin hole punched through each page) including the protect-o-plate made out to JM Meade. Also included is the owners manual and the original Chevy plastic bag which both books came in. I have the original keys to this car as well.There's a few things I've noticed that need to be addressed on the car. Everything works on the interior (even the door buzzer) except the tic-toc clock, amp meter in the center console, cigarette lighter, and washer fluid pump. Those things would need to be addressed. It does have a slight oil leak coming from the rear main seal that needs to be addressed.The exterior of this car is exceptional with no flaws to me. I would say it's a strong 8 1/2 out of 10. The cowl hood is not original to the car. The back up lights don't work. I've looked under the car and I can't see a harness for the reverse lights. I don't have as much time as I'd like to work on it and fix it. It's too nice of a car not to be enjoyed by someone. The Ohio title is an open title but, I have not put it in my name yet.
