I have a 1987 Buick Regal limited v-6 for sale that belonged to only 2 owners before me and they were family. The story you always here of the little old lady was true with this. A older woman purchased this new in 87 and gave it to her grand son last year. He was going off to the Marines and sold it to me. I have searched high and low to find a decent 85-87 Regal Limited, and got lucky with this one, even had to go to South Carolina to get it. In the past year and within 4,000 miles it has New front rotors,bearings,seals, and pads, New battery, alternator, tires, water pump,heater core, coolant flush radiator, fuel pump, engine mount, and a complete tune up. The ONLY reason I am thinking of selling this is to pay some bills, and I would rather not sell my other toys. The exterior is in ok shape, nothing besides surface rust anywhere , but both quarters are dented (fixable) and misc dings. I think they told me Macco did a paint job on it about 10 years ago. The interior is in decent shape, mainly the drivers door panel and drivers seat needing the most attention. The carpet is worn, power antenna does not go down. The car runs great and rides even better. It is completely stock down to the smog pump and catalytic converter. The only thing not original is the radio, I installed a New Clarion cd player. The biggest flaws I can tell you is the Ac needs Freon, and when its cold and you first crank it up it runs rough (guessing carb needs adjustment or replaced, I am not a Carb guy). But in normal temps or after about 30-60 seconds she runs like a dream. You can tell someone repaired where the Nader pin bolts in the door jam on the drivers side. The title is clean and in my name and only shows 36,000 miles NOT 136,000 but I am pretty sure in all reality its 136,000. This is a steal for the last year of the real Regal and limited to boot. It is loaded with just about all the options that year besides T-top or sunroof. Don't expect this to be a perfect car, but I would not hesitate to drive it from Georgia to California right now. There is no apparent rust under the vinyl top, and it is in good shape. When I added the cd player I installed some new 4x10s as well and the sound system sounds awesome. I also have with the car some new 3.5s for the dash not installed but included. The visors need recovering. The dash does have some cracks. The headliner is in decent condition, I would recommend recovering it as well to match. The car is VERY comfortable and drives great. My intentions were to do a 5.3 swap in the car and make a cool sleeper. I thought I have been pretty specific with the add, but just to reiterate, teh car is 28 years old and no where near perfect but is very orginal and in my opinnion very reliable, and as said before I would drive it from the east coast to the west coast right now with out any hesitations. There are other Regals on here that have a reserve for 6k and up. I am selling this one with NO reserve and that leaves lots of money to play with it as you wish. The title does say 36,000 ish miles not 136,000, but as said I believe it is 136,000 ish miles.
