1968 CHEVELLE Being offered is a very nice 1968 CHEVY CHEVELLE. This car looks, runs, and sounds awesome. This car offers the following: POWERTRAINThis Chevelle is powered by a strong 396 Big Block with mild cam. It's fueled by a Holley dual line 750 Carb, Elderbrock High Rise Aluminum Intake, newer Mallory distributor, newer plugs and newer Mallory 8mm plug wires, and Ceramic coated long tube 3" Hooker Competition headers, new dual 3" Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with turn downs. The car sounds awesome. The car has recently had new belts, new fluids,new alternator, new battery. All suspension components, and brakes are in good working condition. The trans is a 400 turbo with a Shift Kit, correct horse shoe, staple style, factory shifter in console. The rear end is a 12 bolt Posi with 3:55 gear, new bearings and fluids. The car runs strong, and is a blast to drive.EXTERIORThis Chevelle has a very slick paint job, on a laser straight, solid, and dent free body. The car was painted 1 year ago with PPG Tuxedo Black, base coat clear coat, and has been well kept and well maintained for shows and cruise in's, and shows mirror like reflections as can be seen in the pictures. I would rate the paint a strong 9.5. It also has perfect chrome on bumpers, and all emblems. The doors, under hood and trunk jams are nice as well. The trunk jam has a few imperfections around the weatherstrip in a few spots. The undercarriage is very solid. The floors, wheel wells, trunk,and frame are all solid. All weatherstrip, and felts are nice. The Chevy has a very nice set of New Polished American Racing Torq Thrust 2 wheels, 17 X 7 fronts, and 17 X 8 Rears, 235 45 17 and 255 50 17 Rears with nice new Nitto 555 tires. The car has a nice stance and gets looks and compliments everytime I take it out. INTERIORThis 1968 has a very clean correct Deluxe black interior. The front buckets and rear seat are in perfect condition.The door panels are in great condition as well. A leather wrapped, billet, custom SS steering wheel. Car has a newer carpet. The glass and chrome trim around the glass, in all in nice condition. The original dash, gauges, and dash pad are in great condition. All brake and turn signal lights work. All gauges work as they should. The car has a nice set of Aftermarket gauges that include water temp, oil pressure.
