We have 25k into this car and it only has 117k miles. In BMW terms that's a new motor. Clear title and one owner very clean for the year. Just invested 350.00 to see if the dealer could figure out the error codes and they won't even try to repair but replace only. I have the report from the dealer and would be more than happy to send you. This car needs a true mini tech - so that they can pin point the errors and fix. All I know is that the 650.00 spent to replace the battery, transmission oil, and TCM unit hasn't fixed the check engine light. The car drives and has more than enough power, but the changing of gears seems to be the issue. No matter how fast I go the rpm never exceeds 4200 - and reverse works fine. It just seems to be in third gear all the time. As I stated, needs a good mini mechanic to either fix and or rebuild the transmission to factory spec. The reserve has been lowered to 2500 as is.
