Up for auction is this 1965 Mustang convertible. 289 cubic inch 2 bbl. C code, Dynasty Green with black interior, automatic transmission, power steering, remote mirror, AM radio, power top and console shift. It has always been maintained and serviced. Rebuilt transmission 10,000 miles ago and rebuilt engine and rear axle 4,000 miles ago. This car sold new in Van Nuys California then came to Vancouver, B.C. Canada in 1972. It has had the same owner from 1965 until 2013 when I bought this car from our close family friend. The paint and the convertible top were redone in the 80's. The convertible top still function perfectly. The radio works but could use a new front speaker. I have all maintenance records back to the 80s. The car runs and drives perfectly. The original owner is a close family friend and was always very passionate about the Mustang. The Mustang has never been in a accident and the interior is all original. 97,000 original miles. The last two pictures show some rust but all the sheet metal on this car is original. It would be an easy paint job as the car is so straight and in great condition.
