What I have for sale is a 1968 Camaro SS L78 survivor car certified by Jerry MacNeish. This car was manufactured on the first week of April of 1968 in code F-F Island teal (very rare) and code 712 black interior trim. The car was purchased new at Harry Mann Chevrolet in Southern Cali and held a class division title from Lions Dragstrip back in the day. The car currently has a L88 427 in it with the original heads, intake, and carb from the L78. I have the original shortblock that comes with the sale of the car. According to Jerry's report the Muncie is a re-stamp possibly from warranty exchange. This car has original paint and all original body panels. The hood has had a re-spray from Jerry's report. Now take into consideration that this is a 46 year old paint job and it does shows signs of it here and there but, that's what makes this car unique and different. Everything works on this car with no problems. It has had a MSD 6AL installed with a different distributor. I have all the original part to put back on the car such as distributor, manifolds, and smog equipment. This car also comes with the protect-o-plate to validate options in Jerry's report along with the original Harry Mann key chain. The only things I have done to the car since owning it is the rear package tray and seat divider for the trunk area. The previous owner had replaced the front windshield with a new date coded correct replacement. I have the original and it has a crack in it. Reason for replacement.
