1949 Ford Sedan that has been chopped and lowered. The car has all new glass installed with the exception of the rear window, which is in excellent condition. The front windows are operated by Nu-Relics power units, the rear windows are fixed. Newport Engineering wipers installed. The gas tank has been replaced, along with the Drivers side rear quarter panel, rockers on both sides, both front fender bottoms, body mounts and portions of the floorboards. All work professionally done. All body mount bushings have been replaced. Doors and trunk have Bear Claw latches. Trans tunnel is removable for ease of access. Top was chopped 4 inches in front and 6 inches in rear. Headlights were frenched. Brake lines and Gas lines have been replaced. Seat belts are Juliano's 3pt belts. The engine is a 302 Ford that has been bored to 306 cu.in. All crank and rod bearings, pistons, lifters have been replaced. Double Roller timing chain with aluminum pulleys. 93 Cobra roller cam with new lifters installed. GT40 Heads with valve job and Harland Sharp roller rockers installed. Full length headers with full length exhaust pipes and turbo mufflers. It has an Edelbrock 650 Carb with an Edelbrock Air Gap manifold and a Mallory Distributor and Coil. The radiator was rebuilt into a 4 core unit. It has a pusher electric fan. The Transmission is a rebuilt C-4 The front suspension has all Jamco parts, including lowered coil springs, dropped uprights, steering arms and sway bar. The steering is rack and pinion using a manual Sunbird rack with a Fatman mounting kit. All front end bushings have been replaced. The front Disc brakes are ECI units, with an ECI Firewall mount master cylinder and ECI offset brake pedal mount. Rear brakes are new with powder coated backing plates and new drums. Rear axle is a Ford 8 inch unit with 2.79 gears out of a 1970 Maverick. Comes with spare pumpkin with 3.20 gears and rebuild kit. Runs good, have taken it on several 200 mile+ trips. Has a very small oil drip at the rear of the motor. I think its the rear main seal, but I'm not going to tear down the engine to fix a leak that drops a teaspoon of oil every 2 weeks. The interior is passable, there's no headliner in it,. Original gas gauge and speedo work, odometer not accurate. Other gauges have been added. The car needs the bodywork cleaned up and painted. Chrome needs to be done too. I quit counting when I hit $28,000.00 in receipts and costs. This is a well mannered road car. It has Coker Bias Ply tires with original Moon Discs.
