THANK YOU.I have a 1995 Honda CR500 complete rolling chassis that the previous owner installed a 96 or 97 Suzuki RM125 Engine in it after his 500 engine broke. The bike would make a awesome restoration project for some one that can afford to install another CR500 engine in the chassis. The bike does run and drive as is with the 125 engine in it. The bike starts right up, but is slow to rev up until it hits the higher rpms. The Suzuki engine does shift through all the gears. The bike has a FMF Fatty Rev pipe on it and FMF shorty silencer. The suspension needs to have the fork seals replaced and the shock needs a new oil seal and rebuild, but the forks are straight and shock moves through the stroke as it should. Plastic on the bike is OK, but does have a lot of scratches. The rear fender had cracked mounts, so I have a brand new rear fender that will be included with the bike. The bike as is would make a decent trail bike, but if you want to race Motorcross on it then you will want to get the suspension done and go over the engine. I would recommend selling the RM125 engine and putting either a CR500 or CR250 engine in rolling chassis if you want to race moto with it. Please call 608-658-7486 and ask for Bubba for more details.
