This vehicle was built 01/81 at the St. Louis plant and was delivered on 02/26/81 with 6.2 miles at Van Camp Chevrolet in Milford MI as shown in the original purchase documentation. The original owner of this vehicle took her off the road in 1991 with a little over 11,000 original miles and put her down for a nap in a heated garage. For almost 24 years this corvette sat in the garage of the documented first owner till now! Grandpa unfortunately passed away so this baby is looking for a new home. Its evident that grandpa took good care in putting this car in storage because with a fresh battery she fired right up!! This vehicle is in good running condition and starts right up with no hesitation. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts just as smooth at the day she was born. The clutch has plenty of spring and grip left with true and actual miles of only 11,311. The brake peddle is nice and firm along with no leaky calipers either. This car is a very nice example of a C3 corvette. This documented 1 owner numbers matching car appears to be completely original including the tires. The vehicle comes with 2 sets of glass tops, original documentation as shown in the pictures, the original dealer inspection sheet documenting the correct engine and transmission, and whatever else you find hidden in this car.
