Here we have a beautiful 1965 Shelby Cobra replica, by Classic Roadsters. The paint is a custom mix color, a very hot red/orange combination which attracts stares and comments everywhere it goes, not only due to the color, but also the professional quality of the preparation and finish. the fit and finish of the body is very nice, with great body lines and a deep reflective shine. the smooth exterior lines are uninterrupted by door handles, as the doors are operated electronically by switches located under the dash. As seen in the photos, the interior is finished in a beautiful black leather, creating a stunning color combination with the blazing paint. With only 7,900 miles showing on the odometer, this car is in great condition.The engine is a 1969 351W built for street performance by Verle Stevens Enterprises of Denver, CO. Some of the features of this potent small block engine are an Edelbrock 650 CFM carb, a streetable performance cam, and a Mallory ignition system. This car is very, very fast, and with the lighter small block engine handling is very precise and tight through the Mustang ll front suspension. Shifting is processed through a Borg Warner T-5, 5 speed manual trans, and a B&M Ripper shifter for quick gear selection. The Ford 9" rear end is equipped with 3.83 gears, a great set up for short high speed bursts or highway cruising. This car was equipped with wider Mickey Thompson tires on the rear, but in the name of handling, traction and also the ability to rotate the tires, a set of Goodyear Eagle II's were installed, much to the delight of the current owner.
