For your consideration a 1958 BMW Isetta 300 Export (USA) Motocoupe in Standard trim level, VIN # 504783. This Isetta is the last car of a five car, Isetta project run from German Master Tech in Bend Oregon. It shares the show winning process' of the preceding four cars but was not finished. Of special note was Isetta #2, a concourse class winner at the Forest Grove Concourse, Legends of the Autobahn and the Concourse on the Aves in Carmel CA. 504783 was repainted in it's original color, Elfenbein. The body now sits on the powder coated frame and is ready for assembly. Interior color will be standard grey side panels, grey front door cover and rear parcel tray. The seat material that is provided is from Isetta's R Us. Period correct red basket weave vinyl with recommended white piping. Please note- Isetta's R Us provides full support with parts, materials and an advise source for the Isetta restorer. As GMT's Isetta parts collection is part of this sale, buyer will have much to choose from as well as to trade with. Also included is our factory chassis cart and engine test stand! Whats done- Body in paint, all body color components are painted, Door installed, Front and rear glass installed with new gaskets and trim. Frame powder coated. All chrome work is done including spares. Chrome work by Queen City Plating in Seattle Wa and is of the highest quality! Two sets of bumpers, two sets of bumperette's (tusks) lamp rings, mirrors and grab handle are in fresh chrome. Speedometer is new and unused, restored by Palo Alto Speedometer. Aluminum lower window channels and headlight base's are polished. Steering wheel is restored. Wheels are restored two piece wheels with tubes and new BFG Silvertown whitewalls.
