This gorgeous Pagoda top SL roadster is a great addition to any collection or a great car as a weekend toy! This is a nice driver quality 230sl. It runs and drives absolutely fantastic. The previous owner adored it for the past 25 years. At some point, the original 230sl engine was replaced. It now has 2.5L engine, similar to what was in the 250sl. From what we decoded on the engine numbers, it actually came from a 250se. Upon arrival to us, it received both mechanical and cosmetic refurbishing. A brand new carpet kit, new sound deadening, new door rubber molding, and a thorough cleaning of the interior helped immensely. Mechanically it received new plugs, distributor cap and rotor, air filter, oil change, a reset of timing, and fuel mixture adjustments. That makes it run great. To help it stop great, it got new brakes all around with new brake fluid as well. All fuses were replaced for new and the fuse box was cleaned. It has new engine mounts, transmission mounts, and subframe mounts. Also, new valve cover gaskets, some cooling hoses that were dry rotting were replaced as needed, and the transmission fluid was flushed for new and the filter was replaced. It was also aligned and then driven daily for over 200 miles to insure the overall quality. All in all, over $5500 worth of repairs were put into this roadster so that the new owner will not have to. Drive this one anytime you want, she's good to go! This car is rapidly gaining in value and the fun factor is through the roof. Get yours today!
