1938 Mercedes Benz 230 B convertible. This Mercedes has been in my family since 1970. I was restored in 1981. As per the paperwork we have it was built and sent to Istanbul, Turkey to serve as an embassy car during World War II. My father bought the car in 1970 for a friend. Once he received the title he begin to restore the car. The car needs new paint and some chrome needs to be re-plated. My father who has since passed away informed me it has a blown head gasket and does not have the proper carburetor (Solex). We have all the technical data on the vehicle from microfilm. The interior is leather and is in really good shape. The top is good and is in working order.
