Vehicle Detail

1955 BUICK ROADMASTER SERIES 70 2 DOOR 6 PASSENGER RIVERA WITH DUAL REAR AIR CONDITIONING! Jay Leno has owned a similar 1955 Buick since 1971 Model 76R 127" Wheel Base 236 Horsepower Gold-Colored Roadmaster deck script and hood ornament & gold accented grill Extremely RARE Dual Rear AC Buick's top of the line Series With Original Factor Buick 322 Cubic Inch "Nailhead" v-8 engine Four Barrel Carb and High 10:1 Compression Buick Dynaflow Automatic Transmission Lots of Frame On Restoration Done Rust Free Recent Re-Paint, although not a perfect job. All stainless and chrome was removed for painting. New Upholstery and Carpeting New Door Panels, new sun-visors, new dash pad, new headliner. Over 144 pieces were re-chromed New Gold Trim Bumpers re-chromed New Rare Spinner Buick Hubcaps Car will be a great collector piece, BUT it still needs to be finished. I bought the car a couple of years ago, and was taken by the ebay seller. He claimed that it was a great running car, and 95% complete. It is far from 95% complete. It does run and drive, but it needs a tune-up for sure... I wouldnt drive it more than a few miles without doing a full service, plugs, etc. It also needs tires, and shocks. I would look at the brakes too. Yes, he had it repainted, but it is not perfect. I was able to track down the missing trim piece from the side of the car... (It will go with the car, I just have not installed it). There are a few other pieces that need replacing such as the antenna, a couple interior trim pieces, etc. This car is a rare one with the rear factory dual AC, but it does not work, and looks like it needs a few parts for it (not sure). I have tried to get the best pictures I can for you, as I would NEVER do to a buyer like was done to me. I do believe that someone willing to do some of the work, and track down a few pieces will have a very valuable and rare Buick road master! Please feel free to contact me anytime, and I will answer every question possible. 575-649-2335.
