This truck is located in Minden, Nevada 89423 and is sold as is, where is.It must be picked up within 30 days of purchase. It needs restoration as shown. ((The pictures make the yellow paint look better than it really is.))But, it is original paint with no bondo underneath. What you see iswhat you get. Last year for the 440. 1978 Dodge shortbed 4x4 MACHO Power Wagon. Factory D-code 440 4bbl automatic,truck wearing it's original yellow and lo-glare black paint. It still has it's originalfactory roll bar, and (4) original 15 by 8 inch "wagon wheels". The previous ownerpurchased it in about 1980 and kept it in Southern California until last year.He stated that the 94,298 miles are correct. He quit driving it in the 90s andlast registered thru oct of '95. It sat until last year when I purchased and traileredit to Northern Nevada. I changed the oil, hand cranked the motor, put gas in thetank and it fired right up and purred like a 440. Even though it runs and "yard drives",the new owner should plan on completely going through the truck before driving.I have not driven it on the street. The tranny shifts, but has a front seal leak. The radiator has a leak, crack just below the cap. The brakes are soft. It hasoil pressure but shows toward the low end at hot idle. And, it needs at least a tune up.It has a rebuilt (before 1995) thermoquad. The tires are 20 years old. The really good: all of the tags are present including the core support tagshowing the Macho paint procedure PX9 and the Macho only secondarypaint PZ4001 lo glare black. It has it's original cert label, door vin tag anda clear Nevada title. It has one of the best beds I've seen on one of these trucks,Except for some stress cracks where the roll bar supports mount to the fenders., (see picture)It also has very nice floors, cab corners, frame etc. More good: factory AC,Auxiliary fuel tank, tinted glass, cargo light, (radio delete truck). Dents, see pictures, driver front fender, door and lower cab scrape/dent small ding in pass front fender, and the bed is scraped just forward of the pass sidetail light. You will also find other little dings dents etc, but it is overall very straightand never wrecked. Front bumper is bent. Rear is an aftermarket and also bent. Rust, cab roof on the passenger side has some small holes that are from the inside,from condensation. See picture. It also has a rusty spot on the dash abovethe center AC vent, perhaps where the windshield leaked?Frame has only surface rust, and the floors are very solid as shown. Seats, and all of the soft interior parts are worn or heavily worn, torn etc.These parts are all the same as Little Red Express and available. Truckoriginally had carpet. Please assume that all of the gauges, electrical,accessories, components, window cranks, etc need repair or replacement.And the windshield is cracked. Rare truck that would be a No Brainer restoration.
