Hello, I have made the very difficult decision to sell my IS300. The reason why it is difficult for me is because this vehicle is pristine. It has 36,xxx original miles on the 2JZ motor. There is a long story behind how I obtained this car, but the brim of it is this: I have owned 3 IS300's in my life, because by far the IS300 is my favorite car. The day I sold my last one, I already started to miss it. Therefore I immediately began my search for another one. I found this IS in an insurance auction in Connecticut, and at the time it only had 23,xxx miles! I had never purchased a salvage vehicle before in my life, but due to the minimal damage (drivers side fender, drivers side door, and drivers side headlight) I couldn't pass this one up. The car (even with the damage) looked perfect in the pictures, and I spent a pretty penny to obtain it in the crazy auction! Shipping by itself was $1500! I have enjoyed every mile that I put on this car, but as the saying notoriously goes, I have turned a new chapter in my life with work and school, and no longer have time to enjoy this vehicle. The vehicle is completely stock, and hasn't been modified. The motor purrs, and the interior makes you appreciate the age of the car in years, versus the number of miles it has driven. All maintenance is up to date, including fresh brake pads in the front and the rear. The vehicle is registered and all DMV fees are paid. All that it will need is a smog, which will be no problem.
