Up for auction at NO RESERVE is a 2004 1/2 Silverado 2500 4x4 with the 6.6 Duramax LLY engine, backed by an Allison 1000 transmission. This truck has been used to run service calls in a residential HVAC business for the last 7 years. It has never been used to haul/tow the heavy loads it was designed to. It was purchased with 79k miles on it back in 2007 and has never been out of service for a breakdown. It has been taken care of and serviced every 5000 miles. It being a 2004 1/2 means it has the LLY Duramax with the external type fuel injectors that had been upgraded from the LB7 motor that had the expensive injector issues. This one has run flawlessly. It has not been modified from stock, does not smoke, knock, leak or make any other strange noises. Cold air and hot heat. It doesn't have any engine trouble codes and the transmission works like a new one. In fact, the transmission was just serviced around 3000 miles ago, at the last oil change. The 4WD works fine. We recently installed new headlamps in the truck, as the old ones had faded like they all do eventually. New windshield a few months ago. Batteries are a couple years old. May need a starter rebuild in the coming months. The solenoid will miss every 10 starts or so -but will always engage on the second key turn after that. The truck cab is in superior shape. It has no rust, typical of a central Florida vehicle that has never been near salt. The paint still shines and has only one ding that I found, and it is hard to pick out. Drives nice and straight with no play or slop in steering. Stops true and evenly. Truck is ready for your company decals. Will definitely make someone a very clean and professional looking service vehicle that would represent well. The service body is in good working order and the bins offer great tool/material storage. The keys to the bin locks, however have been misplaced. We may be able to locate them before delivery, but at the time of this listing, I can't say they are included. Tires were new last spring. The only reason we are selling the truck is to keep our fleet updated and maintain a modern image with a current-year model. This truck will perceivably leave here and drive issue -free to wherever you take it, no matter how far away you live. I'd leave here and drive across the country in it if need be. With that said, the truck is used with over 200k miles on it. It's not perfect. There are certainly other details/imperfections I can't cover or are not intimately familiar with that may or may not be important to certain prospective buyers.
