2000 BMW 323CiC Convertible We are pleased to present this absolutely beautiful 2000 323CiC convertible. It, of course, has the premium package, as well as the cold weather package, and HiFi Sound with a single CD player in the dash. The car began its life as a BMW demo car, and was equipped witht he most popular options and packages as a result. It's also finished in the new for 2000 Steel Blue Color. It also features extremely low mileage for the year at just 94k. The interior of this 323iC is in very, very good condition. It has dove gray "Dakota" leather heated seats. The leather is in good condition, and is still soft enough to retain the "bunching" around the edges. This is fitted with the comfort seats, which are more forgiving on long trips, and more comfortable for "larger" drivers. This is very nice for those who do not find the narrow sport seats comfortable. (Myself included!). Overall the leather is in great shape except for the seam on the drivers seat bolster and a small spot of wear on the center arm rest. The hand brake lever is leather-wrapped, as is the steering wheel. The car has the premium Premium HiFi audio system which features a CD Player along with RDS. The black soft top is in beautiful condition and is fully automated. This soft top consists of 3 layers. The exterior water-tight canvas, the inside headliner, and a thick insulation layer which is sandwiched in between the two. This makes the car completely suitable to be run year-round. There is no wind noise or temperature loss through the top as was the case in older convertibles. With the top up, these cars behave just like a coupe! The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages and two unused ash trays. This BMW has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags. Speaking of safety, this car features the rollover protection system. This is a pair of active roll bars which deploy from behind the rear seat if the car's internal sensors detect that it is probable the car will roll over. They deploy in a fraction of a second to keep the front and rear occupants safe. The windshield surround and A pillars also feature strenghtened steel to keep the windshield area from collapsing in a rollover situation. The cargo area is very generously large for a convertible and can accommodate more than a weekend's worth of luggage easily. The carpet floor mats are included. The exterior of this 3 Series is in stunning condition and has very very few dings, and very very few scratches. It is Steel Blue in color. The car has its original BMW 16" alloy wheels which are in good condition. As was mentioned before, the soft top is in incredible condition and is black in color. The soft top is the fully automated type which requires nothing but pressing a button to operate. The tires have very good tread life remaining. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary BMW Inline 6 cylider engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. The transmission also operates properly. The car has traction and stability control which make this a truly usable car in the winter. It's very smooth, while still shifting crisply. These cars are known for being mechanically reliable.
