2004 Audi A8L 4.2 Quattro We are pleased to present this very special 2004 Audi A8L Quattro for your consideration. We recently acquired this A8L from a car dealership where it was traded in by its owner on a brand new Audi. This Audi has had two loving owners since it was new, and they took remarkably good condition of this car. The first owner was a musician in the Washington DC area who owned the car for just over a year, and put about 1100 miles on the car. The second owner purchased the car certified pre-owned and only recently traded it back in on a brand new Audi. The 40V 4.2 Liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with the ZF 6HP automatic transmission and Torsen all wheel drive is a completely stellar combination. The car also has had several very costly service records (WE COUNTED OVER $40,000.00 IN SERVICE RECEIPTS SINCE THIS CAR WAS NEW!!). The most recent MAJOR service bill is hilighted in the pictures below and included a new set of tires, an overhaul of the air conditining system, and a complete timing belt/water pump service. This all cost over $5400. On top of all of this, this car is STUFFED with options and packages including xenon gas discharge headlamps, Bose sound system with CD and subwoofer, premium package, cold weather package, Alcantara package (includng alcantara headliner, pillars, and parcel shelf, extended leather on the center console and door panels, and MUCH MUCH MORE! One thing that is never important to forget about these A8Ls is how absolutely ahead of their time they were! These were one of the first mas-marketed cars which were constructed of 100% Aluminum. The car's frame and body contains virtually no steel at all, so rust will never been an issue here. This also makes the car not only more rigid, but also quite a bit lighter than if it were steel. The interior of this A8L is in very, very good condition. It has Amaretto extended leather heated seats which are just beautiful. The leather is in fantastic condition, and is still soft enough to retain the "bunching" around the edges. The shiter lever is leather-wrapped, as is the steering wheel. Since this has the cold weather package, it has heated seats (front and rear) along with a heated steering wheel. It also has heated windshield washer jets, heated door lock cylinders, and a rain sensing windshield. The car has the premium BOSE Surround Sound audio system which features 17 speakers, along with a CD Changer that is capable of decoding MP3s. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages and two unused ash trays. This BMW has dual front airbags, as well as front and rear side airbags. It also has SIDEGUARD curtain airbags. The trunk is very large and in fantastic condition. The carpet floor mats are there, along with a brand new set of Audi rubber floor mats. As mentioned above, this A8L has Audi's MMI system which offers control of many of the car's settings including the audio system, navigation, climate control, and much more. The Navigation system in Audis is one of my favorites, and offers a 3D perspective as well as very smooth motion. It's a very powerful system compared to other cars. I own a 2004 Audi with the same MMI system. It's quite easy to use. The operation if the MMI system is very slick, and once you get used to it, it is quite intuitive. This A8L has sun shades on the rear side windows, both of which work properly. This car also has Audi Telematics by On*Star. The exterior of this A8L is in stunning condition and has only a few dings and scratches. It is Atlas Gray in color which is a bright, medium gray color that looks incredible in direct sunlight. The car has its original upgraded 18" "Fat Five" 5 spoke alloy wheels which are in fantastic condition. The car has had only two owners since it was new, and IT HAS BEEN been serviced exceptionally well. The second owner bought this car as a Audi Certified Pre-Owned car. We have every receipt for the car since the day it was new. From the original purchase documents, to the most recent service which cost over $5000, it's all there. Even the original BROCHURE is included! It's obvious this car was LOVED! The tires are nearly new matching Pirellis which were just installed by the Audi dealership at its last major service. The tires are all matching. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary Audi 4.2 V8 engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. The timing belt/water pump complete service was also just completed at its last major service. The transmission also operates properly.
