This is a very original 1974 MGB Tourer. It's in very good overall condition and very complete. The car has been in dry storage since 1999. Prior to that it was driven regularly. The car ran very well but the engine started smoking. Thinking it was the valve guides the previous owner had the head completely rebuilt. That didn't solve the problem so it most likely is the rings. He started to take it apart as seen but lost interest and merely stored it. The engine turns freely and has compression. The car rolls freely and everything is tight. The transmission shifts normally. The brake system is completely intact but the pedal goes to the floor. The floors are all solid. There is no rot at all. The rockers have been replaced with stainless steel rockers. The car was wet when photographed so it looks shinier than it is. The paint is in good overall condition but is a somewhat amateurish job. The car was converted to wire wheels correctly with new axles and hubs. The fuel tank is a newer tank and in great shape outside but rusted inside somewhat. It is very usable after cleaning though. The car was in the previous owners family since 1978 and driven until 1999. The windshield is broken but I have another windshield in a frame. The tires are obviously completely shot from dry rot. I'm sure I left out a ton so just ask. Obviously no gaurantee of any type. I will help your transporter but please if you want it shipped make sure they'll ship a non-running vehicle.
