It is priced above bluebook because of low careful 71k miles traveled, & CONDITION IS EVERYTHING. It would be difficult to find one this nice. You can buy a later model, but first Google reviews of the 1999 Pathfinder 4WD SE. No one who's had one complains about them, they are almost bullet proof. The later model Pathfinders got bloated looking & the Later engines were not as good as this 3.3 liter engine, The new models have been called unreliable in reviews. In other words you can spend a whole lot more money & not get one this nice. Keep in mind this car sold new for $30K in 1999, Targeted, & beat Range Rover for Luxury, Performance, & Reliability. ~ NISSAN PATHFINDER FACTS: Pathfinders were built on the tough Nissan Truck Chassis, They were an immediate hit when introduced. The 1998-2004 4WD SE became a legend, the compact understated good looks, & rugged reliability of the Nissan 3.3 liter V6 engine built their reputation. When cared for properly Pathfinders will go over 300K with no major work. FUEL ECONOMY listed on line as 17 City, 20-21 Highway MPG ~ THIS PATHFINDER: Was purchased from Troncalli Nissan in Decatur Georgia, in 2001 for $21,000. We are the second owner & have enjoyed owning it since then. We have lived in Stone Mountain, & Jasper Georgia, & Las Cruces New Mexico. The only work it has needed was the prescribed 60K mile work, which we had done, plus replacing Tires, hoses, belts, plugs & plug wires. This Vehicle has run all Synthetic Fluids, engine, transmission, differential, dot 5 brake fluid, since we owned it. Other than taking 2 trips in it, it received light use by the Mrs. to drive to church, & on family outings. We own a Nissan pickup for carrying & work duty. This was our "nice vehicle" & was babied, cherished & Garaged. This accounts for its pristine overall fine condition. We have now moved to Florida, & no longer need a 4WD vehicle. We will get by using our Nissan P/U Truck & Miata Convertible. Although selling as is, without warrantee, I have no doubt this can be driven tomorrow anywhere in the USA, & will give several decades of excellent service.
