2006 Volvo S-40 THREE DAY AUCTION ends TODAY! Going to the "FIRST $3500 offer" for quick sale: BUY NOW. This has been a dependable car that can now use some TLC. I took many pictures so you can see the details like dirt on the interior of the doors, (the seats can use shampooing from removable dirt stains) and there is a small paint chip on the rear bumper (see pic). The engine light comes on; started about three weeks ago and it recently just started to idle funny with odd shifts at times. I didn't bring it in for a checkup / tune up because of time: I already bought a Chrysler Town and Country and need to change out the plate / tag immediately! Good on gas, reliable, new compressor, freon/ Air Conditioner blows ice COLD, newer tires (6 months). Front brakes done around 6 months ago, the body is in good shape: Straight with a "CLEAR title". This vehicle Runs and Drives Nice outside of the auto transmission light stating "up-shift". This started recently and while I don't think it's anything serious; I'm not a mechanic... I am selling it immediately and "as is" (rather than take it in for check-up) for a quick sale: I can trade it in as is, or sell on e-bay for a few hundred over what dealer (CarMax) offered so we both win. Like I'm trading it in your getting no warrantee just as if bought at an auction....I have been on e-bay for 15 years next month with 100% perfect satisfaction (including sales of high ticket items)...That said...I have done my very best to describe this vehicle the best as can and need to now put its plate on the new car. I attached recent accurate professional appraiser's review from CarMax which explains the cars entire condition (see picture attached). CarMax is selling these cars for $12,995 firm (no haggle)....So, with some attention and care, this Volvo is for someone who wants a nice looking prestigious car with (A VERY RARE FOR VOLVO), 67 THOUSAND MILES (not 167,000 like the others), ONLY 67k original miles and...these cars are said to go forever: Many miles to go.
