Vehicle Detail

This is a fleet maintained vehicle that we got from Monroe County the Environmental Services Dept. It was used as the : "Environmental Analytical Services, Mobile Laboratory" until this year. It had previously been outfit with various laboratory, environmental, and plotting equipment, as this vehicle was a mobile work station for this department. Would make an excellent contractor vehicle, with ample interior storage, and the generators. Also a great candidate for a "food truck" or camper conversion. This would make a great camper. May be used as a mobile lab, mobile command center, Homeland Security type response vehicle, a Nascar fun vehicle, with fridge and viewing platform for all the action, a professional photography truck - shoot pictures from the rooftop.. The possibilities are endless. The box is made by ENG Mobile Systems, Inc. See picture of the model and manufacturer plate on this. This vehicle was used sparingly, and has only 14,655 original miles on it. It starts, runs, drives, and stops like a truck with 15,000 miles. The battery is 2-weeks old. The interior is in near perfect condition. Seat, dash, floor, door panels, etc are in perfect condition, as can be expected with a 15k vehicle. The truck is just over 12' tall. The box is very unique, and is in excellent condition. The truck is not at all rusty, as it has been primarily been stored indoors. There are two Kohler Confidant 7 generators fitted into the rear compartments of this vehicle. Each generator starts and runs perfectly, and is hardwired into the panels and wiring of the truck body. The generators each have roughly 500 hours on them. The generators power the lights, the refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, battery charger, propane furnace, interior and exterior lights, hydraulic levelors. They also power the 2-dozen outlets located around the van body. Everything on the truck seems to work fine. Both rooftop AC and Heat units work, also the refrigerator and Microwave. We have not tested the coffee maker. There is a side and rear door that lead into the cabin. There are retractable steps to provide easy access. There is another door on the driver side of the box that leads to a telephone booth sized closet or work area. The bad: We suspect the shocks are original, as there is a little bounce over speed bumps, dips and such. Also there are 2 deep cycle batteries that power the van body and start the generators. One or both of these batteries seem to be near the end of their useful life, I am not sure. While there is no rust on the truck, there is a bit of corrosion under the van body, inside the rear wheel wells. It is not structural, and an easy repair if you choose. Tires have significant tread, but some cracking from age is evident. Please message me if you wish to view or test drive the truck locally. It is located in Rochester, NY. The vehicle is listed for sale locally also. Call me with questions, or for a "buy it now" price, or for potential trades. You may call 585-7O5-4ll6 between 8AM - 8PM, Eastern Time. Thank you for looking.
