1950 Ford F-1 1/2 ton short bed LARGE PHOTOS BELOW very nice and straight truck AMAZING FIND shows 49,000 miles on the odometer possibly correct, but not confirmed. Has been sitting inside a Airplane hangar for over 7 years! This truck was restored around 15-20 years ago and retained a lot of its originality. has been sitting for the past 7 years, but was a daily driver when parked, it was INSIDE an airplane hangar to be exact, not in a wet or moist environment, It is outside for pictures only, and Temporary storage until it is sold This beauty has been given an easy life as an around town truck, and occasionally cruising in the local parades until it was put away in storage by the previous owner that had plans of restoring it completely, BUT other project got in the way.has what is believed to be the original DESIRABLE Flathead v8 looks like it was rebuilt or out of the truck at some point due to the semi fresh and non original paint on the motor, looks nice but is dirty, with a good power wash it will look great! I wanted to preserve this find and the way it is for the new owner to enjoy! The motor turns over by hand, with some resistance of course due to the motors compression. The bed has a single sheet of galvanized steel most likely put in because of rotting wood. No major Rust other than some minor surface rust that looks like it is coming up beneath the paint on each side behind the rear wheels, There are also some minor cracks in the paint forming on top of the rear fenders as pictured. looks like there is some rust forming near the running board mounting bolts also. 3 speed manual transmission, clutch feels good and stiffInterior still retains a nice look, gauges and accessories all appear to be originalTires are good but are old from sitting, they still hold air, The wheel covers appear to have the old Lincoln Logo on them, not originallike I said very straight and honest truck, I have no doubt this truck will run with little effort...... I have not tried yet to get it running. It will need the usual gas tank cleaning, fuel filter, carb cleaning/rebuild, brake check, but that is the thrill of it! I have a Clean title This will make a great EASY project for someone, or just drive it like it is with minor mechanical work and ENJOY!
