NO RESERVE!!!1927 FORD MODEL T ROADSTER PICKUPALL STEELSURVIVOR HOT RODFEATURED IN 1959 HOT ROD ANNUAL MAGAZINESAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA HISTORY327 V81939 FORD TRANSMISSIONRARE WEIAND 4-2 INTAKE MANIFOLDFOUR 97 STROMBERGSTORQ THRUST D WHEELS Up for auction with NO RESERVE!!! is an all steel, survivor, 1927 Ford Model T Roadster featured in the 1957 issue of "Hot Rod Annual" magazine. This car has deep roots in the San Francisco Bay area. It was first built into a hot rod in 1955 using a 1940 Ford as a donor vehicle. The car originally ran a 1940 flathead as pictured in the 1957 "Hot Rod Annual" magazine. The car went through a transformation in the mid 60's into what you see now. The flathead was replaced with a small block 327 which is mildly built with a rare 4-2 Weiand intake topped with four 97 Strombergs. The car was also repainted from white to an amber metallic lacquer paint job that you see now. It has not been touched since. The black tuck and roll naugahyde upholstery, carpet and top was also done in the mid 60's and still is in excellent shape. The old moon pedals are originally from the 50's and still in the vehicle along with five Stewart Warner gauges from the 50's. It needs a new headlight switch. The car has a mor-drop front axle with disc brakes installed at some point in it's life. The car has been converted to an alternator from a generator. An electric fan has been added to the radiator. Including the above the disc brakes, wheels and valve covers are the only things that have been changed from the mid 60's. The all steel survivor body is in excellent shape with no real signs of rust or rot. The car has a custom roll pan that was fabricated back in the 1950's that is distinct to this vehicle that houses turn down scavenger pipes on either side along with the 1940 Ford tear drop tail lights that were used from the donor car. The CA yellow and black license plate does not come with the sale of the vehicle. This vehicle is turn key and starts up every time. The hood featured in the pictures is included. It comes with a new set of chrome shocks for the front. This car is a true survivor hot rod built in the 50's and virtually untouched since the 1960's. It has been stored in a garage until 2 years ago.
