Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1996 Eddie Bauer Ford Bronco. This Bronco originally belonged to my grandfather who purchased it BRAND NEW from Arapahoe Ford in Arapahoe Colorado. He babied this Bronco for the 17 years that he owned it. It has never seen any road salt, was never off roaded, and has absolutely NO rust anywhere. He never pulled anything with it and it was ALWAYS garaged. It has the 351 Windsor motor in it with 159k miles and about 90% of those miles were spent driving back and forth from Colorado Springs to Phoenix where he would go to see his girlfriend, yes his girlfriend, lol. He literally hand waxed it 3 to 4 times a year. He was a non smoker so there are NO smoke odors or burns in it. It was never in any accidents or had any bodywork done to it. He was religious about the maintanence and it needs absolutely NOTHING repair wise. He had the whole front end rebuilt about 6 thousand miles ago along with BRAND NEW Falken tires and brakes front and rear. I inherited the vehicle from him about a year and a half ago shortly after he passed away. Ive only put about 4 thousand miles on it so its mainly just sat in my garage. I did have the transmission fully serviced when i got it along with a fluid service on all the differentials. This Bronco runs flawlessly and drives like new with no pulling, shimmies, or shakes, even at highway speeds. It burns NO oil at all and actually gets decent gas mileage if one keeps it under 75. I honestly average about 18.5 mpg on the interstate if i keep it around 72 or 73 mph. The paint is in AWESOME shape for the year and again its all original paint. I replaced the pinstripe on it about 6 months ago as the factory one had faded quite abit. There are some very very minor scratches on it and im sure a wax would take care of that. The interior is absolutely immaculate with absolutely NO stains or odors in the carpet. There are NO cracks in the dash or on any of the plastic parts. There is a small cargo mat in the very back that goes with the truck along with the original cargo netting. The driver and passenger seats are torn rite in the center of the seat where ones bottom sits which apparently was fairly common with the bronco leather. As you can see in the pictures there is a seat cover on the drivers seat and ive never taken it off so i left it on there but that seat has a tear too like the passenger seat does. I did check in to having the seats recovered and i had two different quotes of 410 and 450 dollars to do both of them so its not a major expense if one chose to have them redone. Everything works on the bronco including the 4wd which wasnt used alot but it does function perfectly as well as the rear window defroster and the back window. It has an aftermarket cd player in it along with upgraded speakers. Im not a huge music guy but it does sound very nice and clear. It makes me sick to have to sell this bronco but i recently went thru a divorce and unfortunatley need the money. The Bronco is in Park City, MT which is only about 20 miles from Billings so if the winning bidder decided to fly in to pick it up Billings is a very reasonable city to fly in to and picking one up from the airport is NO problem at all either. If you decide to have it shipped its NO problem on my end to take the vehicle to wherever need be for that. Billings has an car dealer auto auction here in town so there are quite a few transport companies that go to and from here so i would assume getting a reasonable shipping price wouldnt be to hard either. I have both sets of keys and remotes for it along with all the manuals and the original window sticker. The title is clear with no leins and is all ready to go. We all know how hard it is to find Broncos anymore that arent all beat to heck and rusted out and that being said this is an absolutely gorgeous bronco thats in pristine condition and i promise you that you wont be disappointed. Im sure im forgetting something so if you need to ask me any questions feel free to call me anytime at 406 670 4653 and my name is Mike. Thank you so much for looking and good luck!
