The paint and body are in good shape and the red still shines as you can see in the pictures below. The body does have some dings, dents, knicks and scratches but definitely looks good for being 10 years old and still turns heads every time you drive it. There are some tiny stone chips on the front from normal wear and tear. The chrome is in good shape and shines well. The trim is still black and looks good with only minimal fading. The glass is good all around with no chips or scratches. All six tires are brand new and have less than 50 miles on them. They are the stock size 235/80 17's and are matching all around with a 40000 mile warranty on them. The wheels are the stock upgraded wheels from the factory and they are in great shape. Mechanically the truck is very sound and fires right up with no stalling or hesitation. The 5.7 Hemi sounds very throaty and healthy and has never left me stranded! This is considered by some to be the best year of the Hemi. The bugs were all worked out by 2005 and it was before they added the less desirable MDS fuel system to the Hemi. The 2005 year Hemi is rated at 345HP 375lbs-ft of torque. It is a blast to drive the truck and hear the Hemi roar. The Hemi is attached to the bulletproof NV4500 5-Speed Manual transmission. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears with out any binding or noise and the clutch has a lot of life left in it. The manual four-wheel drive system works great and engages correctly in all the gears. This is also preferred over the electronic switching option due to recalls in the electronic system. The doors open and close as they should and close with a reassuring thud. This is the SLT package but has manual windows. Both windows roll up and down smoothly as they should and the rear sliding winding opens and closes smoothly as well. The leather wrapped steering wheel looks new and is equipped with tilt and the controls for cruise control are mounted on the steering wheel. The steering is tight with no play. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks. All the gauges function as they should and there are no warning lights or idiot lights on. The suspension is tight and the steering damper was just replaced with a brand new Rancho 7000. It has about 50 miles on it and was done when the brand new tires were installed. All the lights work as the should including the headlights, high beams, tail lights, blinkers, hazards, exterior cab lights, exterior bed lights, interior dash lights, interior courtesy lights and the exterior bed light. The air conditioning works great and blows ice cold. The heater/defroster works great as well. The Kenwood deck sounds awesome and is a great improvement over the stock deck. The seats are in good condition and are a split with a fold down center console in the middle. The drivers seat is full power and it works great. The drivers seat has a small tear about the size of a quarter on the bottom inner side of the outer seat bolster. The center console has storage and a power outlet inside it and the top is beginning to crack where your elbow rests. Fold the center console up and you can seat a third person in the cab or there is more storage located under the bottom of the middle seat. There are two adjustable cup holders and various other storage compartments throughout the truck such as behind the seats and the doors. The bed has a spray on bed liner throughout and already has a space for a gooseneck. The tailgate looks good and opens and closes as it should. This truck has the towing package already equipped including the tow hitch, wiring and factory extending tow mirrors. The cabin feels a lot roomier than your standard regular cab truck and is very comfortable for long trips. All the fluids are fresh and this truck is ready for work or play! This truck is really fun to drive and extremely capable of doing whatever you need it to do! It can tow your 5th wheel on friday, your boat on saturday and be ready to go to a job site monday morning.
