1957 Volkswagen Beetle Has not been licensed for over 20 years and has been parked inside a dry non heated building with a concrete floor. This beetle was last regularly driven probably in the mid to late 1970's. The car runs and drives but will need brake work. I'm sure the master and slave cylinders will have to be replaced or rebuilt. I replaced the fuel pump with a NOS unit, replaced the spark plugs, condenser, cleaned the points, and put a carburetor kit in it to get it in running condition. The engine seems to run strong and sound but does drip some oil. The fuel tank reserve selector valve drips gasoline. The car has been hit in the right front and rear which show damage that has been hammered out. The passenger door does not open from the outside and the drivers side does not open from the inside. The windshield has a crack in it, other glass is good. The muffler/exhaust has a hole in it. The rockers, floors, and unibody frame are NOT rusted out. I have not checked out any of the chassis or suspension related parts The odometer reads 25,800, I'm sure that means 125,800. Books and repair manuals pictured come with car.
