This car was kept in dry covered storage for many years and was a running driving car when placed into storage as a future project car. The car is basically all there and a good candidate for restoration. It has a fully installed 440/4BBL engine that is not the original engine but the original engine block and heads accompany the car along with an extra hard top ,radiator support( the original is in exc condition) and two tail light assemblies. The build Tag is installed on the left front inner fender orig from the factory - see pictures - the codes are as follow: E86-440/4BBL, D32-727 Auto Trans, XS29- Charger R/T, UOG- 440/4BBL 1970 St. Louis Assembly Plant, FE5- Medium Red Paint, C6XA- Charcoal interior with Black Vinyl Buckets, TX9- Black upper door frame trim, V1X- Black vinyl Roof, AO1- Light Package, A36- Performance axle Package 355:1 Ratio and 8.75 Axle Auto Transmission, C16- Console, C55- Bucket Seats, G31- Right Hand Mirror, H51- Air conditioning, J25- 3 Speed Wipers, l31- Hood Mounted Turn Signal Indicators, M21- Drip Rail Moulding, M31- Body Belt Moulding, R22- 8 track/AM Radio, V8X- Black BumbleBee Tape Stripe, 26- 26" Radiator. See pictures for condition of body which shows no evidence of an accident -the lower quarters and rockers will need to be replaced for a first class resto and there is a small area under the drivers pedals that could be patched. Rear frame extensions are good and the trunk shows surface rust. Installed engine runs and the brakes appear to be functioning - Disc brakes on front wheels.
