1953 Oldsmobile Super 88 2dr. Sedan, 3 speed This is an original Super 88 with 3 speed manual transmission, for restoration or a hot rod project. This is a vintage early 50s muscle car and would be great for a "La Carrera Panamericana" or "Vintage Nascar" replica or retro-rod project. The original color was dark green with a white top. The car was last driven over 30 years ago and has been stored indoors most of the time. The following work/parts have been replaced recently: Brakes: wheel and master cylinders partially rebuilt, new brake lines Tie rod ends partial exhaust system (not original spec) new gas tank, filler and sensor, fuel lines Has a later Edelbrock carb (I do not have the original carb. and air cleaner) Water pump Battery Running Condition Engine starts but does not run properly. Oil pressure is insufficient. It will require repair or rebuilding. Mileage is as read. The speedometer is not working. The actual mileage is uncertain. Interior: Original door panels, the seats have seat covers, which I have not taken off. Original style felt headliner very nice This car will be sold "as is, where is" with all faults and defects.
