With the driver’s hand removed from the gearshift the clutch would re-engage automatically. A Great car that had been in storage for the past 8 years and now wants to show itself off. This car has had a complete restoration, keeping the already solid floors. The motor was rebuilt by a VW specialist. It runs like a brand new car. To achieve the restoration many new high quality parts were used. To name a few: The convertible top was replaced with a Robbins convertible top w/ boot, which is a high quality original style material.
