1940 IH D2 pickup truck. Hot rod Rat rod. Custom CLEAR TITLE VIN 292415 The body, grille, and frame are original. Frame has been completely boxed for strength. Top is chopped 3" and body is channelled 6". The body is set back about 6" to accept the 454 BBc Bed is from a 53 chevy truck and shortened and has 59 Caddy taillights. Hood is fabricated from a 39 Plymouth hood. Hood sides are original ,but stretched 6". 454 BB has been completely rebuilt and has a mild cam. The car has about 120 miles on it. Runs good and strong!! 400 Turbo automatic rebuilt with shift kit in it. 12 bolt GM rear end 3.73 gears. New posi unit. Front suspension is a 32 Ford dropped axle unit w/ disc brakes from (TCI) Total Cost Involved. Rear suspension is coil over shocks a Chassis Works ladder bar system. Interior is mexican blankets, New dolphin gages. Vintage beer keg handle for a shift knob Electric windows 50 Chevy sun shade. A lot of work has been put into this. I started on this in 2007. Built several rods in between. This a one of a kind real head turner that shakes the windows. LOT OF FUN! I would drive it anywhere
