This is an unusual auction. When I purchased this vehicle I had full intentions of restoring it. I removed the two front fenders, the hood, the trunk lid, the gas tank and the two doors. I removed all the paint from these parts and they were primed. In December of 2013 we lost our home and all contents including another recently restored vehicle when it was destroyed by fire. When I purchased this vehicle it had been in storage for approximately 15 years and there was also an extra frame that was included with the purchase. I see normal rust on the frame but someone had fabricated their own outrigger and seals but had done a very poor job. The floor pans appear to be solid but more than likely need to be replaced. The trunk pan needs to be replaced. All metal on inner body looks good. Two rear fenderns are with the vehicle but one had to be cut off but I feel it can be repaired. The top and tonneau cover appear to good enough for a driver and the boot looks fairly new. I have cleaned every spoke of the chrome wire wheels and they turned out nicely. The metal on the front end of the extra frame seems to be solid. There are areas on the main frame that are rusted thru, after hitting the remaining areas they seem to be solid. Not much is left on the back end of the frame. This vehicle will roll and when I purchased it the motor did turn over. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000.00 upon sale.
