Vehicle Detail
Here is a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country Touring mini van in good condition. This is a one owner car that I purchased new and have been driving it for the past 9 years. This has been a very dependable car for me, but the wife wanted a new car so I got another minivan with stow&go that I intend to keep for at least another 9 years! This car only got towed one time in all the years I have owned it and that was for a broken front strut assembly. The van has the following issues: 1. Rust-out on the rockers on both sides. Bubbled paint on the hood and tailgate. Scratches and minor dents and dings on the body. 2. A quarter size puncture hole on the rear plastic bumper. 3. A burn mark across the headliner and sunglass storage area in the front. Does not affect operation of car in any way. Vandalized in church parking lot. 4. Air conditioner does not work. System is complete and compressor does not make noise, so it may just be out of refrigerant. 5. Rear wheel bearing on passenger side is starting to make noise and will probably need replaced. Right front tie rod has slight wiggle in it. The joys of Ohio road potholes! 6. Anti-lock brake warning light is on. This is due to a rear wire needing replaced. I purchased the wire but have not replaced it. It just plugs in on both ends and is an easy fix but I have not found the time to do it. I am including the replacement wire with the car. 7. The cup-holder has one side clamp broken off (passenger side) and some of the seatbelts in the rear have been slightly chewed by my dog when he was a puppy. 8. With 3 kids, a dog, and working on old cars for a hobby the carpet has some stains on it. One of the middle seat side plastic panels is off and one of the rear carpet covered panels for the stow&go is loose. This is everything that I know is wrong with the van. Now for the good things about this van. It runs great. The engine runs smooth and the van shifts as it should. It has no problems doing 70+ on the freeway. It passed Ohio e-check and the check engine light is off and there are no codes for the engine or transmission showing on the scanner. The tires have decent tread on them. The power sliding doors and rear tailgate all work well. The power windows and power vents work well with no problems. The am/fm cd cassette player functions great with no funky noises from any of the speakers. I have both keys and they operate the locks, sliding doors, and tailgate. The stow & go seats work great. The luggage rack is adjustable and complete. I had a class B receiver hitch added when the car was new and it has the flat plug for the trailer wires connected to it. Everything not listed above works like it should. The underside of the car is solid with no rust holes or damage. In the past year I have put new pads on the front brakes, replaced one of the low tire sensors, replaced the driver side strut and spring assembly, replaced both oxygen sensors, and put a re-built engine control module in it. The mileage will be higher than what is pictured because my wife still drives this car almost every day. This is being sold as-is with no warranty or guarantees. It is pickup only . It is located near Chardon, Ohio 44024. It is for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel the listing if it sells before the auction is over. Thanks for looking and good luck!
