up for sale is 1996 Ford Ranger Pick up truck extended cab, automatic transmission, 4x4 with manual locking hubs, power windows, after market stereo The truck has approx 282,000 miles or a little less. The truck's engine is a rebuilt engine and is still working great, starts right up and goes. The transmission has has at least one rebuild that I was aware of when I bought the truck. The title is clear, and has no liens. Title is also not a salvage title or anything like that. Vin number is 1FTDR15X2TPB45765 The major problems I know of are that the center seat console needs repair, I bought it like that, and I just kept it up. The cruise control controls on the steering have come lose, and is hanging. I don't use the cruise control and never have, the previous owner indicated that it was working but I have not confirmed it myself. The truck was bought as a secondary work vehicle, and has a lot of highway miles, but I am no longer working the long distance job, so I don't need it. The truck has sat for around five to six months, and when I just test drove it, the transmission was shifting, but o/d light comes on and seems to cause a shifting issue for the automatic. Before this, the truck drove fine and shifted fine without any issues. So not sure what the problem is, but it is a good truck, I just don't need it anymore. All the fluids seem good and it just had a virginia inspection about three months or so ago. The only other issue is the key fob will need replaced, the one that came with the truck, broke and split apart. Also the stereo was installed by the previous owner, and he did not finish hiding the speaker wire, but I just tucked it up and it played fine when I used it. A remote is also included for it. The body is in good shape, it does have some paint issues, some little rust spots but overall in good shape. The bed does have a not liner. Otherwise, a good truck. Would make a good second truck or play toy. The truck is as is, I have listed the items that I am aware of at the time of the listing. Any perspective buyers are welcome to look at the truck.
