Vehicle Detail
This will be my last time listing this car. If it doesn't sell here I have two local offers and I will accept one of those or just keep the car. I could use the space but don't need to sell it.1937 Ford Tudor 2 Door Sedan Street Rod This is a beautiful, attention-getting street rod. It looks great, runs great and is reasonably priced. I have owned this car since 2011; most of the work was completed about 3 years prior to that time. I will share as much as I know, having owned it for the past three years. Exterior The body of this car is Henry Ford steel with the exception of the rear fenders and running boards. It was painted prior to my purchasing it, but still looks very nice. It is a driver, so there are some minor paint chips but you have to look for them. This is no 10-footer, the Viper red and egg shell paint looks very nice even up close. Features include: Teardrop headlights with turn signals behind the glassTwo piece windshieldTinted glassBillet mirrorsShaved door handles with remote poppersHood release and deck lid release are under the dashRecessed taillightsFrenched power antennaDriver’s side windshield wiper – a joke, really – use RainexAmerican Racing wheelsThird brake light mounted in rear window Interior The interior is in excellent condition, with no rips or tears in the material. The seats, door panels and headliner are all covered in a durable and attractive brown tweed material. The seats are recovered originals I am told. Other features: Beautiful dashboard with VDO gaugesIdidit tilt/telescoping column with a Lecarra billet steering wheel and Lokar pedalsAM/FM CD playerPower windowsPower brakes – front disc/rear drumNO power steeringVintage heat and air conditioning works very wellAuxiliary power outletDoor panels with Ford logoCustom carpetSeat beltsTrunk is finished to match the interior Mechanical Under the hood lies a healthy 350 cubic inch/350 horsepower small block Chevy engine tied to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end. Features include: Edelbrock Bright Series carburetor and aluminum intake manifoldMallory electronic ignitionPolished aluminum air cleaner and valve coversCeramic coated shorty headersAggressive sounding cam that still has good street mannersNew Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans – runs cool all dayMustang II front suspension The car is titled as a 1937 Ford. The title is in my name and has no liens on it. The gauges work, the power windows work, the stereo works. The car is in very good condition. The only things worth mentioning are:The horn is not in the center of the steering wheel, it is connected to a button under the dash, making it almost useless.A few minor paint chips.A small imperfection on lower edge of body below left taillight where evidence of body work is visible – minor, but visibleA scrape under the grill. You can't see it unless you get on your hands and knees under the grill and look up. The car is a reliable driver with no surprises. If you have additional questions please contact me and I will do my best to answer them. The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping, but I will help in any way I can. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
