1963 VW DOUBLECAB ...This is a very straight project . It has its rust issues but not as bad as most projects . This bus is from the mid west and moved to fl several years ago but was in a garage that whole time. The reason the rockers are so bad is someone made metal covers probley when they started to rust which made them hold moisture and rust worse. What it needs Is rockers both inner and outter between the wheel wells and some out riggers and floor work and one cross member , I HAVE MOST NEW METAL I WILL SELL AT COST also some patch pieces for rear floor . The frame is straight and solid this doublecab has never been hit hard .I just had the rear seat pedestal and seat frames sand blasted and epoxy primered , I also have both front seats. The rear seat pedestal has been rebuilt and is super solid . I have a link with 270 pics of everything on the bus if interested ASK FOR LINK . It has been sitting for years and needs restoring . This is The motor looks complete and may run with some work I do not know as its been sitting for years . .
