Vehicle Detail
1968 Dodge Charger all original survivor This is a 1968 Dodge Charger that is an all numbers matching HP Big Block all original unrestored survivor car! It is all original as it came from the factory. It has the numbers matching big block 383 4bbl HP engine, 3.23:1 rear end, AC, power steering and numbers matching automatic transmission. It is a highly desirable and rare LL1 Turquoise Metallic with a rare Tan interior. It has never been repainted and again, is ALL original. It includes great factory documentation including the original broadcast sheet, certi-card, owner's manual, etc. All gauges work including the speedo, oil pressure, fuel gauge, etc., though the clock is a little sticky. The iconic flip-up headlights work great as do the turn signals, brake lights, dash lights, dome light, etc. The car runs and drives well. Interior is clean with wear consistent with a survivor car of this age. Undercarriage was undercoated from the factory and is rock solid. Tires are period correct red-line polyglass on all four corners plus the spare tire. The only rust is a bit on the lower tail panel, a bit on the passenger's quarter behind the wheel, and a bit at the corner of the back window. Trunk pan is solid with some lite surface rust. That's it! The rest of the car is clean and rust free! The paint has some patina, some dings and some thin spots but that is part of the appeal with these cars . . . factory original as Detroit intended! These survivor cars are the hottest thing in the collector market and can often go for more than restored cars.
