Vehicle Detail

1970 Mustang Mach 1 351 Windsor 2V FMX auto Grabber Blue on Black3.00 Traction Lok Rear axle You are bidding on a complete running and driving time capsule. Parked in 1976, brought out of hibernation and back to running and driving condition this year. This included installing oil pan and valve cover gaskets, trans pan gasket and filter, engine oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter, points, fuel tank, fuel sending unit, rubber fuel lines replaced, starter, stainless steel brake lines and calipers/wheel cylinders, pads/shoes, hardware kit, both u-joints, and installed 2 1/2" dual exhaust to nice sounding mufflers that are turned down just ahead of rear axle. This car starts, runs(does not leak a drop), shifts, and drives (have put 50 miles on it) as a original car of this era should. The choke works, all lights work-including sport lights in the grill, turn signals in hood scoop, reverse lights, and every interior light! What doesn't work is the speedometer (cable is cut by exhaust-replacement cable included not installed), fuel gauge, clock, and the original A/C items are missing under hood and I do not have the factory wheels. Check out this interior, no split seams, or cracks in the dash pad! It is nearly perfect. Paint has some scratches, lots of rock chips, and generally showing its 44 years of wear and tear. It still shows pretty good from a distance though. Rust wise starting from the front, it has the typical spots(about the size of a quarter) on each over lap at the top of the fender/shock tower area, at the very bottom of the torque box/frame rail overlap a 2"x6" area(basically where the two come together), the bottom couple inches of the truck outer drop panels, the taillight panel is bad under the drivers side tail light, and last but not least a quarter size hole in the bottom passenger side quarter panel--see pics for all of these items. I am not trying to hide anything and want you to understand that all of these areas are more of patches needed rather than full panel replacement. The bumpers have some pitting, bright work such as quarter window moldings and tail light bezels has pitting, rear window molding perfect, windshield molding has scuff mark on passenger side, rocker panel moldings awesome. IF you are looking for a unmolested, uncut, unrestored Grabber Blue Mach 1 that is driveable and useable as is...here you go! Start your restoration project off right by knowing what your getting and not what someone else tried to cover up. Comes with Elite Marti Report, if you have and other questions, just ask. Vehicle is for sale locally, so I do reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. LOCAL pick up only, I will help to load if needed for shipping from my address only.
