Euro 323i 4-door 5-speed E30 BMW. This is not a typo - this model was not offered in the US. It was produced for the European market between the US E21 and E30 models (we only got the E30 325e at that time). This car was imported to California and federalized about 1989 ("gray-market") and is documented and plated as required. Previously registered in CA, now in FL. Standard to this Euro model: dogleg close-ratio gearbox, limited-slip differential, Ricarro seats, electronics package, headlight wipers, fog lights, sunroof, duel exhaust and other cool stuff. The original distributor engine has been replaced with an 1988 325iS (stroker) motor installed by German Motorwerks in Longwood. Included is an improved cam, Motronics/DME upgrade from previous L-jetronics, fully detailed head with dual springs, new seals, and milled valves, plus the advantageous original 323 intake. This engine has less than 50 hours on it since being installed, and its a stroker and then some. Lots of torque. The original engine is included for anyone wanting originality, as are numerous spare parts, including cats-eye headlights. Condition: Paint is original and its time for a paint job. No rust on body or undercarriage. Trim is clean and clear. One window regulator (right rear) is not responding. Interior leather is like new, even the bolsters. Dash is cracked, and carpet needs a cleaning. Front air dam and rear trunk wedge not installed, but included. Recent Bilstein shocks, poly bushings and complete suspension improvements. Stainless exhaust from Ireland Engineering. Original basket-weave rims. Jim Conforti has already stated he can reprogram the DME for even greater performance, given the specs, if desired. This has been an ongoing project for me, but its time to move on. She needs a good home with someone who can appreciate what is stated above. Given the originality, new parts, and condition, this is already priced to move.
