1971 Ford F-100 Short Wheel Base Wide Side. This is Native Truck to North Alabama so over all Very Solid Considering it is 43 Years Old. It has Wonderful 300 Cubic Inch 6 Cylinder Engine he Just Rebuilt 450 Miles Ago At 29353 Miles. He Replaced Pistons 30 Over and Crank was Turned 10 Thousands, Head Reworked By Great Local Machine Shop We All Have Used for Years. Has Dual Exhaust with Chrome Tips routed in Original Position dumbing Behind Rear Tires. It Still has Original 3 Speed on Column and It Shifts Smooth with Out Problems. The Clutch was like new so it was reused and for Cheap Insurance Throw Out Bearing was replaced. Some Where the Original Wheel Where Replaced with Current Wheel Which are M8 Motoring Wheels with Contential Contitrac Suv P-235/70R-16 Tires are Ok for Local Driving But Little Dry Rot Starting. He had planned on going back with original Steel Wheels and Ford Poverty Caps but never got that far. Interior is Orignal with Faded Red Vinyl Seat few Belmishes but decent Shape for Daily Driver. All Dash Lights, Blinkers All Work need assistance to cancel. Heater is Hot and has Kick Panel Vents for Hot Summer Days to Aid with Rolled Down Windows. Radio Is Missing Dash is Cut but not terrible and has bezel. Original Cardboard Head Liner and Visors Function but Both Could Stand Replacing. Friend was going to DynoMat Top and replace Visors again from Dennis Carpenter Reproductions. Floor mat is nice original with some patina but has nice emblem in center. Passenger side door has little scale around edge from weather stripping minor surface rust. All Glass is Good Except Windshield which has crack in Middle and Delamination along Bottom Side. Both Gaskets Front and Rear Could Stand to Be Replaced but Both Are Cheap from Dennis Carpenter as is Windshield for this Year Model. The Body Is Pretty Solid But Has Driver Side Bed Damage Behind the Rear Wheel and Tail Gate Closes But Need Few Minutes work to Straighten this out. Roof Has Some Damage I would Guess From Tree Limb but Like this when Friend Got it. The Driver Side Fender Has Scrape on it but Minor. Front of bed has minor rust in front and few small eraser sized holes in bedside at trim. All trim is present but some has screws holding it in place. Front blinkers work butt for some reason replaced with trailer type blinkers. All Damage is Very Repairable and does not have any effect on Driving Truck. Please look at all Photos and Decide Before Bidding. Truck Is Good Running Truck that is Great for Week End Projects or To Letter Up with Your Logo as Shop Truck. These Trucks have Gone Crazy thanks to Gas Monkey Building Several with Crown Victory front clips which is common swap on these. It gives you 13" Brakes Big Sway Bars Etc. I would Find Me Steel Wheels and Poverty Caps and Red Metal Flake Steering Wheel and Ride and Enjoy Thumbs Up From People Passing by. We have 75 pictures of all angles of vehicle. We will keep truck until payment has cleared. Alabama is Non Title State 35 years from current calendar year so 1979 and down don't have titles. I have letter from our DMV stating this. Truck will be sold with this letter copy of current tag receipt and Bill of Sale. I sell cars often on ebay and have yet to have problems. Ohio now requires copy of current tag but nothing major.
